Is marmite Kosher for Pesach

I can't find the ingredients of the South African supervised product but
UK ingredients are:

Yeast Extract
Salt
Vegetable Extract
Vitamin: Niacin
Spices
Vitamins: B1, B2, Folic Acid, B12

Is yeast chametz (it doesn't appear to be one of the five grains) or
just the leavening agent? I understand it is fermented whatever the heck
that means. In the case of the UK I think the yeast is derived from beer
which is obviously (?) chametz but I don't know if this is the case in
the supervised South African product.
I don't know anything about biology so if answering please use plain
english laymans terms :-)

It's brewer's yeast obtained from beer and thus chametz.

Are you sure, Josh? I thought from the taste that it was concentrate of
Marmot. Hence, not kosher under any circumstances.

It is dreck, and therefore not even fit for canine consumption. You may use
it to remove rust on stainless steel pots and pans during Pesach.

Marmite is DEFINATELY chametz. The supervised South African Marmite is OK
for during the year but is Chametz on pesach. The non-supervised Marmite
from UK is not approved for any time since the same machinery is used for
making meat products. Even though the machinery is cleaned before using it
for Marmite production, the Kedassia Rabbinate do not approve of the
inadequate cleaning method used in the factory. There is no Rabbinical
supervision of Marmite production in the UK. The Australians have a similar
product called Vegemite.
